Principal's Corner
Dear Parents,
Just a friendly reminder, this year, additional paperwork is required from Baltimore County Public Schools for all volunteers. This volunteer application requirement has been initiated to ensure that every person who comes into contact with our students is the kind of individual that each of us would want around our children.
Volunteering includes working in classrooms and chaperoning on field trips. In other words, any volunteer having direct contact with our children needs to complete a volunteer application. Even if you have volunteered in the past, you are required to submit an application for this school year.
Please understand that requiring this information from our volunteers is being done in the spirit of assuring that all our children are safe in the building and that the people interacting with them are of the highest character. Unfortunately, anyone who does not have an application on file will not be able to continue to volunteer. If you need a volunteer application, please contact our school office.
Thank you in advance for taking time out of your busy lives to volunteer at Chapel Hill Elementary. We are extremely pleased that you have decided to join us as we make instruction exciting for our students. Thank you for your cooperation and know that our goal is to promote student safety.
