Vision & Mission
Improving achievement for all of our students is our overarching vision as it relates to our school-wide school improvement goals. Our faculty, staff, and parents are all working toward a greater understanding of how data analysis of academic testing can help teachers and parents improve student success. Our teachers implement rigorous learning opportunities that are relevant and authentic and provide numerous opportunities for students to apply previously learned skills to new situations.

The mission of Chapel Hill Elementary is to prepare all students to live productive, cooperative, and fulfilling lives in the 21st century. In order to prepare students for the challenges of the future, our teachers have made great strides in planning lessons that are hands-on, student-centered, and academically sound. The faculty and staff have made a commitment to provide a quality educational program that focuses on specific skill development and performance-based instruction that will ensure student success on daily school work, short cycle assessments and benchmarks, and the Maryland State Assessment (MSA).
